Studio Pietrangeli had the pleasure of winning the EU-funded project for the technical studies regarding the hydro electric potential of several power plants located all over the Ivory Coast.
Studio Pietrangeli will be in charge of the pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for the enhancement of the hydropower plants after identification and selection on the most promising sites.
The objective of this project is to develop the potential of small hydropower in Ivory Coast in order to improve the supply of electrical energy in the long term. The purpose of these studies will be to enable the Ivorian State to launch calls for tenders for the selection of independent electricity producers to achieve the objective of 16% of renewable energies (excluding large hydropower) in the energy mix by 2030.
